Memory Steps Course

The ‘Memory Steps Course’ has been designed by ‘Say it with a Smile’ families, specifically for dementia carers and those recently diagnosed with the disease. The aim of the course is to provide all attendees with a bank of knowledge, techniques, practical information and tools to cope with the condition. The course covers topics such as understanding dementia from the perspective of the person diagnosed, medical support, care planning, benefits, power of attorney, medication, nutrition and community support.
