Douglas Drive Senior Citizens Day Centre

Douglas Drive is a Day Centre for Senior Citizens from Stevenage and surrounding villages. Our aim is to enrich the social lives of Senior Citizens and help to prevent isolation by meeting in groups of like-minded people. At present we provide two general day care groups, Monday and Wednesday with a third group starting on Tuesdays in September 2024. Douglas Drive are a Dementia friendly organisation and therefore will also welcome clients with early to moderate stage of Dementia. Activities suitable for each group are organised and delivered by our activities co-ordinator assisted by our volunteers.
