Dementia Carers’ Groups, Meetings and Events

Carers in Hertfordshire’s information sessions, events and meetings for people looking after a partner, relative or friend with dementia are friendly and relaxed. They enable unpaid carers to socialise with others in a similar situation to them and find out about services and support.
Some sessions provide an opportunity to help shape health or community services in Hertfordshire; others to find out about any plans the NHS or organisations like Hertfordshire County Council have to change or introduce services and share your views or experiences. This ensures carers’ voices are heard by decision makers. Information is also shared by email or post.
